The Home Health Aide is responsible for meeting client care needs during their assigned shift. After being competency tested and evaluated by a registered nurse, assists clients with the following needs according to each client’s individualized care plan:　getting ready for their daily routine; self-administration of medication and/or medication administration; body positioning or transferring; feeding if necessary; bowel and bladder control, devices and training programs; therapeutic or passive range of motion exercises; bathing; all activities of daily living as needed; and, transports and/or escorts clients to dining room at meal times.　Recognizes, understands and respects cultural background, spiritual needs and religious 　beliefs of residents and incorporates these areas into plan of care as appropriate

Coordination of the dining services department including but not limited to: perform simple arithmetic and units of measurement conversion; involvement with residents weights, diets, plan of care; supervise and hire dietary employees

the actual or potential health needs of individuals, providing skilled nursing care, and

supervising the nursing assistants to ensure quality care is maintained.

Responsible to assure that all cares are completed as outlined on the resident’s care plan for his/her assigned group. Will administer medications and treatments according to the  Health Care Center medication policy.
